Small Town Living

Why we love living in Pulaski TN:

My wife and I moved to Tennessee to be closer to our daughter and grand kids. We sold our home in Florida and rented a home in Fayetteville Tennessee where our kids lived. Within a few months of living in the rental, we bought a fixer upper and remodeled it. Shortly after my wife landed a career job in Franklin Tn. So, we decided to move closer to her work, and still stay close to the kids.

We looked in Franklin, Columbia and Chapel Hill before we landed in Pulaski. What a gem of a place we discovered. My wife enjoys her drive which is 45 minutes to an hour up I-65. She says the ride is not bad compared to her drive in Florida. She drove from Ft. Myers Florida to Naples Florida every day. A 45 minute drive for her wound up being an hour and a half drive due to the traffic.

We purchased a 1500 sq ft home with three bedrooms and one bath for under $150,000. Our property taxes run around $700 per year, utilities around $250 per month. We are just a few miles away from shopping and dining.

Besides the laid back lifestyle of living in a small town, Pulaski is centrally located between Huntsville Alabama and Nashville Tn. Which is just a short distance to either.

When considering the benefits of living in a small town: (Cheaper cost of living, low traffic, friendly people, low crime and easy access to shopping and dining), isn’t it worth the commute?

Call me and we’ll schedule a meeting at the Buckhead Coffee House in the town square!
